I took some photo's for this brief. I want show examples of work and also have relevant imagery to articles I've written. I started by photographing the pantone swatch books from the tutors office and ended up in the print resource too looking for printers to photograph. It would have been nice to take photographs of a printers workshop but I have not got round to it, and I realise that is my fault. Instead I have decided to use diagrams wherever I don't have relevant imagery.

I didn't want this to be like a workshop handout showing examples of how you use software to set up overprinting, for example. I just wanted to show understanding by writing articles on each subject I felt was important to me or interested me. A lot of my work is for print so it was difficult to leave out some subjects but this was necessary as these initial layouts have space to breath.

I have done prior sketches to these but I wanted to see how these workout before committing to any ideas. Seen as though I have decided to not have a uniform layout throughout in a bid to engage the reader with every page I thought I would produce a few of the layouts and then draw out some more.
