I have been considering my target audience ever since Ian and Vickie raised the issue of how interactive sticker book graphics may not suit an older audience. Although I believe this would not have a significant impact on the viewership, as adults remember the days when stickers and trading cards were more popular when they were teens, perhaps even more than they are now (Panini sticker collections).
I have looked into the possibility of changing the look of my stickers slightly. Ed also mentioned focusing on certain goals or skills that the players had. With that in mind I came up with an idea in which I would give the players a character role suited to their style of play. For example Wayne Rooney would be 'The Power House'.
This then led on to my development on the design front. I wanted the imagery to tie in with the football theme but also give it a little bit of attitude. I wanted to develop a grungy style of graphic. Rough around the edges, basic colours, etc. This was the outcome and it seemed ok but not exactly what I was looking for.

I knew I had seen a similar style to this on a title sequence somewhere. After an hour of looking on youtube and found the sequence for the film Snatch. (posted to my design context)
I changed my designs around a little to incorporate the old and the new direction my development was taking and this is the result. I would like feedback as to how people feel about this new style and whether it will still work with the rest of the stuff I have.

These are the title characters. I have used a select few from each club to stay impartial.
