Tactics Graphics

I've created a pitch for the background of my magazine, but I am beginning to think that this may be starting to get too complex. The pitch will feature 9 stickers on each page and the sequence will focus on a handful of those stickers. The hexagons are symbolic of the old style of patches on a football and the arrows are linked to the tactics. The red team are operating a 4-4-2 formation and the blue is using a 4-1-2-1-2 formation, better known as a diamond formation. I've used page numbers to show this is infact a magazine spread rather than a football pitch. The outer lines will work as margins and pitch pattern work like mini collumns.
