The final crit went well despite my poor presenting skills, which was down to how many times I had been through the body of work. Everything was taken well and not many negatives could be given. We asked to consider whether a Glastonbury audience would take to this, however, we chose Glastonbury because of the diverse range of people that attend it. We are aware the festival is a more family orientated atmosphere when compared with Reading & Leeds for example.
We were also given ideas on how the posters could be more cheeky, in terms of tone of voice, and that may help it tie in with the audience much more. Again, we felt that this was a valid argument and the content needed tweaking, but not necessarily to be more cheeky, just more clinical.
Lastly, we were told to slow down a little as the project was becoming massive and could become unmanageable. We decided to take stock at the end and look at how we could get our ideas across without doing loads of final designs. This led us to plan our boards effectively based on what we had already and what we wanted to achieve.
We also went back to the brief and looked for clues in the tone of voice and wanted to use the same sort of language as the brief on our poster.
