New Brief: Film Season

I have been given the option of two briefs this time, and after thinking about it for a while I decided that the movie season brief was the thing that appealed to me most. Straight away I thought that I would like to do something on comedy. I realise that I will now have to focus my attention toward a certain type of comedy whether that is slapstick, parody or something like dark comedy. Luckily I enjoy quite a diverse range of comedy films including Action comedies such as 'Hot Fuzz' and 'Talladega Nights' to Sci-fi comedies like 'Ghostbusters' and 'Back to the Future'. There are even genres I didn't know I liked called 'stoner' comedies which include films like 'Harold and Kumar' and 'Dude, wheres my car?'

I'd like to assign my project to a particular television channel and work with existing identities in order to brand my sequence and also bring in design direction from existing idents. Something like BBC Three or ITV2 might work nicely.
