Digital sketchbook for Week 1

Myself and Lindsey decided that to be as organised as we could we would keep all of our work in one folder (we also have a seperate folder for research). This has proved to be successful thus far as it shows a clear development and each of us know exactly how the other is working. Our group has total transparency so we are not ever worried about what the other is doing. We assigned roles so we don't do the same things and we are sticking to the roles well.

For example, all of the visual stuff is Lindsey's work, while the organisation of the work and the critical analysis is mostly mine. I was a little worried by how involved I was but after a quick chat with Fred we found that we could both be working on separate items and there would be times where one of us would feel less part of the process, but that is what collaborative work is all about.

I am enjoying the partnership and reflecting on the first week has proved that both of us have come a long way since the first time we collaborated in the first year. I presented our pitch to my satisfaction and I feel Lindsey's thinking has pushed the concept forward. We have both batted ideas off one another and we have had a difference of opinion. If one feels the idea won't work then we leave it. More interestingly we have been thinking similarly on certain things. We both came to each other after thinking of holding some sort of a event with pretty much the same thinking which was a nice suprise.

We have already devised an action plan for next week which I drew up and we both agreed on, and now I am uploading a presentation of what we have achieved in the first week.
