Business card for typography module

Graham asked us to create a business card for this weeks session based on our new and prior knowledge and to apply that with our ideas and layout skills. I wanted to give a few different versions just so people could pick their favourite or give me some ideas on what was more appropriate.


I made the most important detail the phone number and also included my newest logo to give a lasting impression. The typefaces I selected were slab serifs because of the middle ground they give you. I think serifs can be too formal but add value and sans serif looks too techy sometimes.

He also asked us to create an 8 page booklet based on the body copy provided. I seemed a little too easy to do so perhaps I did it wrong. I filled 7 pages and didnt use negative leading so I was happy with it.
