Name of creative partner
Lindsey Marshall

Why have you chosen to work with your creative partner? What are your aims?
I chose to work with Lindsey because of the constrast in our creative skills and the similars in our ethics and beliefs. We both want to work hard and have a high level of commitment. We are committed to the cause and feel these factors will help us from a strong bond. We both are organised in terms of time management and we can both be trusted to work independently. There were a few other people I wanted to work with but they have similar strengths to myself. (Antony, Paul, David, Ollie, Dan, etc)

What specific areas of creative interest/focus do you want to explore during this brief?
I plan to explore typography, layout and digital illustration. Packaging, Leaflets, posters, corporate I.D's and print techniques. (These may well change once we have had time to discuss the briefs).

What specific design skills do you have to offer? How do you intend to use them?
Layout and typography skills I regard as my strengths as well as digital production, and artworking. I feel at ease with all the Adobe software and I can create effective resolutions quickly. With that in mind, I intend to be heavily involved in the final resolutions and preparing artwork for print.

What specific non-design skills do you have to offer? How do you intend to use them?
I have a high level of dedication to my work as well as the drive and determination to succeed. I am committed to every brief I am given and my presentation skills will bring confidence to the partnership. My time management and action planning has improved from the last year and I feel I can list that as a skill I will have to offer.

What do you see your roles being in the creative partnership?
I plan to look after the digital side of the development, through artworking as well as preparing ideas so that they will work on screen and as final resolutions. I will also have a role within the research studies, collecting and collating evidence to inform our design decisions.

What do you see your individual responsibilities being in the creative partnership?
I see my responsibilities as being the organiser of work and time management. I plan to impose our deadlines and organise our time around our other commitments and days in which we cannot be together.

What will your joint responsibilities be?
To ensure our specific duties are met on time. (idea generation, contextual research (visual and data) concept development)

What problems can you identify with your creative partnership?
I live outside Leeds, however, I drive to college so that is not so much of a concern. The only concerns I have about that is if I could not get a space on the car park. That should never be a problem as I arrive so early.

I don't commute on a Friday unless I regard it as essential or there is a studio talk. I tend to leave minor jobs until the end of the week so I know I can work from home.

I play in a football team on a Saturday too, so I don't attend college on the Saturday, I do, however, stay late most evenings when I am particularly busy.
