Formative feedback

These are the formative feedback sheets I received from Alex & Martyn and Paul & Craig. After they looked through my work from the crit they filled out these sheets to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of development work. I was happy with the feedback I got and some proved to be an eye opener.

Alex and Martyn suggested I should go back to the design direction I was working on before because it tied in much better with the target audience. They also suggested that I should look at generating alternative ideas.

Craig and Paul suggested that there was way too much green in my current storyboards, something that had not occured to me until they mentioned it. This will definitely be looked into once I start developing again and I plan to use other colours rather than the green. (it looked a lot worse printed out). They also picked up on the content I had, suggesting that the visual variation might have an impact on the sequence's success. I have to agree and this will also change for the better.

Somethings they did not pick up on was the framing in some scenes. I want to change the stickers so that they are designed for the digital screen appose to what looks accurate.

Overall I'm happy with the feedback and now I know what I am doing.
